About
Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
I'm a passionate abstract, surrealist artist who conjoins my art with my life experiences with numerous concussions, chronic migraines and chronic pain. My art depicts my journey from trauma to healing. I capture the brevity of human life and hope for others to see the beauty through life's pains.
My Story
I'm a multidisciplinary artist who created a series of watercolor paintings during a period of debilitating chronic migraines with auras after sustaining a head injury in a car accident in the beginning of 2021. Because I have a history of seven past concussions, this newest head injury significantly impacted me by exacerbating my pre-existent migraines. I remained hopeful and diligently underwent therapy and rehabilitation. Being the never-ending creative, I decided to paint the chaotic world I experienced during that debilitating time. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Art and Design, and English from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania, class of 2019. I am in the works of publishing a book of my Art that I painted during the two year recovery period after my auto-accident in 2021. The book is a mixture of writing and art depicting the chaotic world of concussions and life with chronic migraines. The book tells about chronic pain and will resonate with anyone who has experienced it; it will speak of a message of hope, understanding, and resilience of living in this world encircled with pain.
